Bluemvmt To Present at MassChallenge Blue Tech Sprint Investor Event

Bluemvmt Selected for NEXGEN COP28 100 Startups Accelerator

BOSTON, MASS. (Nov 1, 2023) - Bluemvmt has been selected as one of the 100 startups to join NEXGEN's COP28 Startup Accelerator Program. In the November 1st press release NEXGEN shared that New Energy Nexus and COP28 have partnered to deliver the first climate tech program of its kind leading up to COP28, the global climate summit this year hosted in Dubai. We’re thrilled to announce that these 100 diverse climate tech startups have been selected to be part of this one-of-a-kind-program. “From energy efficiency to mobility and AgTech, these 100 startups represent grassroots solutions from the regions of the world that need massive investments in climate innovation,” said Danny Kennedy, CEO of New Energy Nexus. “If the world is to transition to 100% clean energy for 100% of the population, then we need more thriving entrepreneurs deploying bundles of solutions, especially in the global South. This accelerator program builds on New Energy Nexus’ 20 years of experience in growing clean energy startups around the world and will help equip these entrepreneurs with the skills and networks to help them grow.” At the minimum, startups have a working prototype and most have some initial revenue. The one-month accelerator program aims to support the growth of selected startups, access to financing and commercial partnerships, and support expansion in new geographies. Selected startups will also have the opportunity to showcase their solutions onsite at COP28 in the UAE.

Bluemvmt Nominated for 2023 Earthshot Prize

QUINCY, MASS. (January 26, 2023) - It is with great pleasure that we share some exciting news. The the Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator has nominated Bluemvmt for the 2023 Earthshot Prize. The project: Digitally Twinning Barbados Coastal Waters was a collaboration between Bluemvmt and Barbados' Coastal Zone Management Unit, led by Dr. Leo Brewster. When asked for comments, Dr. Brewster shared that: "Bluemvmt’s innovative subsea monitoring platform will provide the critical data we need to proactively manage our marine resources." and Kiesha Farnum Director, Public Sector Projects Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator added that "This project has the potential to change the way SDG 14 projects are measured and financed around the world."

QUINCY, MASS. (August 26, 2022) - Bluemvmt is proud to announce that we will be included in the upcoming, Caribbean Climate-Smart Accelerator (CCSA) September 6 Investor Forum - Blue Economy in the Caribbean, to be held on September 6th, 2022. The Forum will include high-level presentations and discussions aimed at highlighting climate-smart, investment-ready projects in the Caribbean to investors, creating a platform for the formation and strengthening of relationships among Caribbean leaders and potential investors.
